Jamie Liversedge has been a director of Alshamsi terra firma since its inception in 2006, and continues to provide specialist concept design, technical research and masterplanning support to the office for a range of projects. He began working in the UAE 25 years ago, although his involvement in projects in the Middle East goes back to 1981 in Libya and Yanbu, KSA. Since then he has worked on a range of multi-scalar projects across the Middle East in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, and globally in the UK, Europe, Russia, India and the Far East.

Jamie currently coordinates the Undergraduate Landscape Architecture and Garden Design Programmes in the Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Humanities at the University of Greenwich in London. He has just had published his second book in a series about Landscape Architecture with his academic colleague Robert Holden, and is researching and writing two future books on Advanced Landscape Construction and Sustainable Landscape Masterplanning for publication in 2015.

He is also a founder member of the TF-Lab in London.
